AND SOW IT BEGINS
The sequel to the successful bigphat films short Ginger In The Dark has been shot over several days during the Christmas period. Shot on DV camera, much of it has been made up on the spot. It has been made just for fun by the team from the original. This time Simon Love is in-front of the camera playing CID detective Jack Slater, attempting to track down Fred Morganson (David Birkett) - a manic farmer who has terrorised trespassers & is now wanted for the murder of Phil, a friend of Slater's current witness.

HISTORY
After completing the first Ginger short, Mark Lovegrove wanted to reprise the roles of the characters in a quick and quirky sequel. However - it has taken more than the couple of days shooting that were planned, but has turned into a creepy, clever detective fairytale. The story has taken twists & turns & has developed over the shoots - the production is our longest short yet! It's purpose is simply to entertain, available on the internet for freeeee!

INFARMATION
We were originally going to include green screen technology in this production, but have decided not to at this stage. We have also filmed on location thanks to Abingdon & Witney College, and are pleased to introduce movie-stars Mark Grafton and Nellie Mitchell to your screen! Keep an eye out for even more cameos in future productions - and see if you can spot Fraz in the full movie! This production also features music by John Ottman from Gothica, and so it must not be sold for profit.
