WATCHED 2: REVELATION - 19th Nov 08
Ryan Reece is back in town and acting in the sequel to Watched, a short film we made over 6 years ago! This is really just a test project to make sure out future films will be worth watching, both for Mark's directing and for Ryan's acting! Lots of great action & stunts in this one for release early 2009, watch the teaser trailer!

THE FALLING TREE - 14th Jun 08
We've finally been able to capture the original edits of our earliest films, including The Falling Tree and The Assignment. These films will be online within the next few weeks, you can follow links from the filmography!

THE BUTTERFLY TATTOO - 2nd Aug 07
bigphat films have been assigned by Lady Productions Ltd. to create the Behind The Scenes featurette for the up-coming feature film which is an adaptation of a Philip Pullman novel, to be shot in and around Oxford. The film, which has a budget & could premiere at Cannes - is being made by talented professional & first time film-makers alike. Find out more about the project at www.tbtproject.com

MUSIC VIDEO MONTAGE - 26th Mar 07
There has been talk lately to produce two new music videos for aspiring bands. We have been approached by The Forum to shoot a music video in the near future, and also another band who wish to shoot something in the Hellfire Caves, Wycombe. Both projects sound like great fun, we'll reveal more as soon as we can!

GINGER IN THE DARK 3 HITS PRODUCTION - 27th Dec 06
We can now say that Ginger In The Dark 3 has officially began production! Just before Christmas we shot a couple of scenes for the film, and already it's looking great! Although we don't expect it to be ready until the beginning of Summer this year, Fred's final outing will certainly be his best yet! This time we've got DIALOGUE! Mark Lovegrove has written a full script for the production and we expect it to top 30 minutes in length. Keep an eye out on the screen caps and news on the Ginger Out The Dark page!

In other news - Skanked Up is backed up and more scenes are to be shot this summer! Also, actor Ryan H Reece popped into the bigphat studios on Christmas Day, and sends this Christmas message! "I have 8 years to become James Bond". Let's just hope he does, and blows some shit up instead of placing products on screen and bigging up the world's current obsession with gambling. It was good to see you, Ryan!

IT'S JUDGEMENT DAY - Nov 06
And there's no sign of Arnold Schwarzenegger at all! Oh well, good job we've got our own Judgement Man Marc Walton to lead us into total anihilation... The video is complete, but we couldn't use all the band members because of college deadlines. Maybe next time!!

SHOOTING BEGINS ON KEROSINE MUSIC VIDEO - 8th Oct 06
Marc Walton & Keren Duncan participate in the first set of footage being shot for the college music video to Kerosine's Judgement Day. Locations included Watlington Hill and another random forest. The shoot generally went well, using over-exposure for the "nuclear bomb" effect and some branch throwing for debris effects, these shots which are providing a slight "narrative" to the piece looked good! Unfortunately, Mark was almost killed by a reversing maniac that just missed his legs and smashed into the back of his Fiesta. Charlie cut himself whilst throwing an array of logs, Keren had a headache & finally - the XL2 viewfinder snapped off after a freak burst of wind blew the camera & tripod off the dolly. None the less, it was good fun! Next up we plan to shoot the band playing in similar locations, but because of the problems with the broken camera, we're going to have to reshoot at the second location. We never reached the third location! Still, all is good :)

GINGER3 SCENES - 21st Jul 06
Two scenes were shot over two evenings, which may be used in the final cut. The new storyline sees some new actors (including Marc Walton & Jess Yarnold) plus familiar faces like David Birkett & Mark Grafton, all of whom acted in the two scenes shot so far. Filming has been postponed & the future of this project is shaky.
