Beside Mark L and Charlie S There is no set team, we use our friends when they're available, actors & actresses
off the internet when needed and other crew members from all over the place when we need,
including our friends again. However, here is some info on those that regularly help
out with our productions!
Mark "mod" Lovegrove
Writer, director, DOP, editor & actor
Mark has been interested in film-making since a young age, and is the leader of
the company. The majority of productions so far have been through his inspiration
to simply entertain the audience. Taking wacky ideas, mixing them with some fun
camerawork & pacey editing, Mark beleives most people will get some enjoyment out
of his productions. It would even appear that some people do! When asked about his
favourite project: "I've enjoyed all of them to be fair! Skanked Up has so far
been great fun simply because of the number of different people in it. It's great
seeing your friends have a good time & then seeing them look great on screen!
Ginger In The Dark II is still my real favourite though - mostly because it was
finished!! It used some great techniques, a storyline which pretty much worked
and I even saw my 5 year old smoke bomb finally get used! Everyone was fun to
work with and this shows in the final version - there's a lot of energy in it!"
None of these "movies" could have been made possible without the help of
friends, many of whom have taken larger roles in these productions. Birkey is
doing a good job of acting, though he'd rather be doing production based work!
Simon Loveridge was the mastermind behind the masterpiece that is Ginger In The Dark...
Mark is currently studying BND Media at Abingdon & Witney College and has every
intention of forming a video production business with partner Charlie Spence
in 2007. He hopes that through making videos for profit, he will be able to save up
for real budgets for his more creative productions. His dream goal is to be a Hollywood
director, bringing new themes to the industry & chilling out with famous cool people
like Samuel L. Jackson, Arnie and Kevin Bacon. He also wishes Keanu Reeves would do
more comedy, dude!
In his spare time Mark enjoys being with his friends, composing music for
computer games & driving about in his Fiesta. He is also project leader for the
computer game Indiana Jones and the Fountain of Youth, which has been
played by over 40,000 people! In the future, he also hopes to bring a music
festival for young people to his hometown. "Safe!" he says.
Charlie "smelly" Spence
Comedian, editor, director, cameraman & actor
Charlie wasn't so sure what he wanted to do and had no idea he would be getting
into film-making. He soon became involved in Skanked Up and since then has also
taken the BND Media course at Abingdon & Witney College. His key interest is in
camerawork although he hasn't been given the oppurtunity to flex that creative
muscle just yet... However, his current project - a music video similar to Blink 182's
"Always" should prove his l33t camera skillz.
Charlie also hopes to make the company money in the near future, and has recently
invested in a Canon XL2, sound equipment AND a new car! He is able to talk the
talk and is always fun to have on set, even when he is just doing lame, useless
tasks! Well - someone has too! ;)
He recently did work experience with Working Title and has been known to "hang-out"
with famous people. In his spare time he works at the
Green Tree, a very special pub for very special people and looks back on his VW Corrado days. He enjoys poker, though.
Rarely wins - and has also been known to lose excess amounts of money in the '21
machine. "Oi!"
David "birkey" Birkett
 runner, cameraman & actor
David has been studying theatre production & design at Abingdon & Witney College,
and has been involved on and off-screen for many of our productions so far. He
enjoys filming a LOT and is always on hand to be clumsy and annoying. However -
his help is invaluable, and he will never be forgotten for his work on Ginger
In The Dark! In the future, he hopes to own his own paintball park. He has
recently given up his 6 year old job as a paperboy.
Simon "love" Loveridge
 director, cameraman & actor
Simon is a musician at heart, studying bass at the ACM in Guildford. His GCSE acting
abilities have been utilised in several of our productions, his tough looks & fun
personality all show clearly on screen. He also devised the idea for Ginger In
The Dark and has a good knowledge of camera operation. His favourite filming so
far appears to be Skanked Up, and he is set to star in many more of our productions!
He's a phat guy who can play Phunkdified.
Marc "merve" Walton
 visual-effects, runner & actor
Marc is keen on music but also enjoys lending a hand to our productions. After A-Level
media he has shown skills in video-making and also acting, which he is getting more
involved with in our productions. Marc is a star and is always happy to help out with
our projects, including some of the more boring jobs such as driving & running. However,
he insists it's all good fun, and we love having him around! He also drinks quite a lot &
sometimes regrets it.
Mark Grafton
 actor & director
Mark loves being in front of the camera and his talent and co-operation as an actor
has worked well for our productions. Also studying at Abingdon & Witney College, Mark
is set to work for United International Pictures sometime next summer. Until then,
he will be in a lot of our productions & will continue to do all his own stunts!
He is a hyper guy and very cool!
Keren Duncan
 actress
Keren doesn't want to be an actress & doesn't really like acting but for some reason
will NOT say no to acting in any of our productions! Her help is essential, her acting
ability is top-notch & her captive screen presence is undeniable. She has been studying
theatre at Henley College and the last we heard, she wanted to get into costume design.
Keren is also cool.
Huw Harvey
 actor
Huw is currently studying to become a professional guitarist at the ACM, Guildford.
In his second year, the professional quality of his music is outstounding. Huw has
acted for us in Skanked Up and it is planned that he will act in future productions.
However, he's recently moved to Guildford and so now he is not as easily reachable!
Huw has been a long time friend of Mark and everyone else on the team, and he too
cannot deny that Samuel L Jackson is a legend. Huw is a partying man, and always
knows how to have a good time!
Ryan H Reece
actor
Ryan is a former actor who collaborated with our production company, and starred
alongside Mark L in Watched. He is an enthusiastic film-maker & actor!
Joe Colyer
actor
Joe was involved in a lot of earlier productions, many of which have still not
been released publically. He enjoys acting & film-making, and has a particular
interest in war films. You can see him acting in Game.
