"I really did enjoy the music in the game. It seems quite suspenseful, as you are trying to sneak around each of the levels, while trying not to be seen and at times heard too."

"The music is also very fitting, with its subdued jazzy feel."

"The music in the game is also quite nice, and fits the whole pirate theme. It is quite quiet but still noticeable, and does not distract from the game play on screen. These tunes fit nicely in each area, and were great to listen to as you explore the island."
Reloaded.org
"The graphics though not spectacular certainly do their job and help create a surprisingly good atmosphere which with the piratey music creates a very convincing atmosphere which reeks of the sweet smell of Monkey Island. "

"The music is just amazing this time around, and while the music of the series has always been strong, I found that this time around it was executed perfectly. The sinister and creepy feeling you would imagine wandering around such an isolated area, is ever present and the tracks each have their own style of conveying the different emotions. The creepy vibe and just the way the tracks are arranged fit in perfectly with the action on screen."
Reloaded.org
"The music, expertly made by Mark “Mod’s” Lovegrove, adds a huge level of tension to the game, and adds to the advancement of the plot. You can tell when you’re in great danger, or when you’re on a mission. The music heightens and slows depending on your situation."

"One of the things that I absolutely loved was the full MIDI soundtrack by Mark Lovegrove. The music was very evocative of the old Sierra style soundtracks, and implemented the Batman theme into them in very unusual and interesting ways."
Adventure Gamers
"...an excellent soundtrack by Mark Lovegrove of Screen 7..."
Four Fat Chicks
"...we were particularly impressed with Mark Lovegrove's soundtrack. The music is varied, appropriate, and very good (especially in the intro), and it adds a lot to the feel of the game..."
Mr Bill's Adventureland
"Special praise must be expressed for the excellent music of Mark Lovegrove, which particularly contributes to the quality and atmosphere of "Fatman" beside the good sound effects. There are reminiscences to the well-known Batman theme and here and there also to the exciting X-Files music."

MISC
Various other compositions.
Ali G - Uzi, Drive By & Crack
Dr Ubermann
Crystal Maze (big beat version)
Mod's favourite
These are all my faves, and why...
Square Route: Main Theme (MIDI)
Every now and then a rare thing happens, and that is that everything falls into place :) If
any one of my tunes could possibly stand up to being its own solid standalone theme for some
diverse game or cartoon, this would be it. What a fun and wacky tune, always makes me smile :)
Black Rose Main Theme (MIDI)
One of those tunes that gets composed in an hour and just seems to work. I think this was made
for Annie ._. back in the day and she was amazed at how quickly it was completed. Me too :)
Kinky Island: Main Theme
KI is my baby and this tune is one of my absolute favourites. I remember sitting on my bed
late one night composing this tune. I can't believe how it turned out, into one of my favourite
"mellow" melodies. It took a while to refine but I truly believe this is one of my best & "most
original" works :)
Perils Of Poom: Three Days Ago
I look back at this tune and think, how the hell did I manage that? The sound banks worked
beautifully and every other instrument just seemed perfect.
Perils Of Poom: Main Menu
This is probably the only MIDI you'll find of the Back to The Future score by Silvestri online (and my other, Poom Title music), this is a direct
rip for the Poom game and still one of my favourite. I've never produced a better piece of music
directly "by ear".
RoN: Main Theme (2004 edition) (01:49)
Probably the best rendition of the RON theme I'll ever make.
FoY Demo: Honk! (00:57)
Probably the closest tune to something similar to FoA is this one.
Trilby's Notes: Main Title (01:01)
Against all odds I managed to create this tune, and god knows how! I'm just so glad this was to
be the opener to Notes, because it was a very special tune for me to write - using techniques I'd
never properly tried before.
Nelly: Happy Ending (02:02)
The whole Spoonbeaks score is probably my most favourite of all time. It is one of my favourite
achievements and the game itself is marvelous. What's more is that the music came straight from my
heart because of my circumstances at my time. Produced during one of the happiest times of my life,
I think this tune sums up about everything not only just in the game world but also in my life at the
time. The ending section is my own personal warning that the love of my life (at the time) will not stay
with me. This track often brings a tear to my eye, cos of what it means to me. :')
finally...
A big thank you to the developers of the games my soundtracks have featured in! I've been
lucky to work with some truly superb people who for the most part just do it for fun!
Some fantastic titles have been made & its an honour to accompany them with this stuff. A
big thank you must also be said to fellow composers who have always lent me great support.
Thanks guys! There is so much musical talent out there nowadays its so hard to keep up,
but at least we won't run short - there will only be more, and therefore more confusion for me! :p
I do this simply cos it helps voice my emotions. When I'm happiest this is my prefered method
of showing it :) A word can paint a thousand pictures & a picture can paint a thousand words.
Music, can paint a gadzillionillion :D
Lastly, to the people that just seem to like the music...
